Often unintentionally hilarious, low-budget children's talent show from the Hamilton, Ontario network that also produced such cult-classics as "Smith & Smith" (which spawned Red Green) and "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein". "Big Top Talent" featured Bonkers the Clown, perhaps the creepiest children's show host in history, and Billy Barty as the little mailman. Local children would sing, dance, juggle, etc, to impress Bonkers and their TV audience ... and everybody always won a balloon, no matter how pathetic their act was!

Jojo the clown and her pet lion Goliah live and play in the whimsical world of Circus Town, where they have lots of fun adventures and learn how to become circus performers.

A pretty young circus trapeze artist is pushed by her domineering aunt to be the best aerialist in the world. When she begins to fall for one of the two men in her act, her mother determines to break up the romance. So does the other trapeze artist, who is also in love with her.

Starring magician Mark Wilson, his partner Nani Darnell Wilson, and Paul Frees as Poppin Fresh, the Pillsbury Doughboy. as you see sketches of performers doing magic and Pillsbury commercials also being shown too. Other people include illusionist Greg Wilson, Bev Bergeron as Rebo the Clown, Dai Vernon, Shimada, Jay Marshall, Rico, Carl Ballantine, and Art Metrano.
